Treatment of dysmenorrhea depends on its causes

During menstruation, many women experience backache, menstrual pain and bad temper. In some cases, the pain is so severe that they can’t even bear. However, few women attached enough importance to dysmenorrhea. Females always take no medications except painkillers to relieve the pain. They haven’t realized that dysmenorrhea is a kind of “disease” that cannot be neglected.

The reason for dysmenorrhea
Normal endometrium is located in the inner surface of the uterine cavity. During a normal menstruation, endometrium can smoothly flow out. Nothing occurs. However, sometimes, the endometrium is not in the inner surface of uterine cavity, but in somewhere it shouldn’t. For example, the endometrial tissue can grow into the uterine muscle (adenomyosis). And sometimes the endometrium runs out of the uterus and grows in the ovary (chocolate cyst). Besides, endometrium can even reach areas such as the abdominal cavity and ovary. Under these circumstances, the necrosis of blood can’t be shed. They accumulate in the original place, causing pain and discomfort which are known as dysmenorrhea.

Treatment of dysmenorrhea is different from person to person
Dysmenorrhea is clinically divided into two categories: primary dysmenorrhea and secondary dysmenorrhea.

The former one is often seen in adolescent, unmarried women and married women who have no child. Their reproductive organs have no obvious pathological changes. This kind of menstrual pain is functional. It is always caused by age, living habits and psychological factors. In most cases, the symptom eases or disappears after childbirth.

As for the secondary dysmenorrhea, it always occurs in women of childbearing age, especially those who are over 30 years old. Most females with secondary dysmenorrhea suffer gynecological diseases such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic inflammatory disease and tumor.

For primary dysmenorrhea, as long as appropriate measures are taken, the pain can be relieved. For example, females can put hot-water bottle on the abdomen, relax themselves and pay attention to the personal hygiene. All these methods can be beneficial to the prevention and alleviation of menstrual pain. And if the pain is very severe, patients can also take moderate painkillers.

However, for secondary dysmenorrhea, appropriate treatment should be taken to radically cure the diseases which cause the pain. For most reproductive system diseases caused by inflammation, patients can take herbal medicine fuyan pill to get a cure. It is a patented medicine which has won reputation all over the world.
